I had a really bad night last night, I didn't sleep a wink as kept coughing. Me and my daughter Nichola decided to spend the night downstairs. I couldn't get comfortable, I propped myself up with pillows but still had bad coughing fits. This cold/flu isn't very nice. The cough is horrible as once you start you can't stop and this nasty tickle in my throat is there all the time. Nichola had this for Three weeks, I am on the first week so Two more to go.
I left hubby in bed asleep as didn't want to keep him up coughjng. I sat downstairs watching so TV with Nichola. Hubby got up at 5.30am, I made him some porridge then went back up to bed. Still keeping myself propped up I managed to get a couple of hours sleep. Sadly the rest of the day has been a nodding off day, I'm hoping I can sleep tonight.
I have had a few restless nights, whilst I'm sleeping and dreaming I'm not disabled I can do so much when I'm dreaming. Two nights ago I was in the middle of a nice dream, me and someone I can't remember who it was were dancing I went to soon around when I threw myself off the bed landing on my bottom on the floor, hubby woke up and had a good laugh at me.
Hubby got in from work today having to go straight out to pick some things up at the supermarket, wren he's got home he had bought me a lovely suprise. CAKE...
This is RAFFAELLO cake, my favourite cake plus its Gluten free, its really soft and light, its the cake I buy when I need cheering up. Its nice to think he was thinking about me when he bought the cake plus he didn't buy himself any, just me. He did be himself something, I think the cake might have been anice gesture so I wouldn't tell him of for spending what he did in a new top for Golf. He spent £55.00, I pretended to be angry then laughed as I really don't mind he works hard for his wages so is entitled to a treat now and again.
I am going to have an early night tonight. I will be propped up again with my Asthma intake close by. If I start coughing again I'll be back downstairs watching more reality TV with Nichola. She's not the best sleeper, she seems to only need a couple of hours before she's up with far too much energy, far too much for me anyways.
Fingers crossed the sandman visits early tonight.
