Extroverted people are stimulated by the presence of the crowd and shine on their own, unlike introverts who bring out all their splendor and talent when they're alone or in very small and well-known groups.
Introverts aren't antisocial or timid, they feel more stimulated alone than in company. Introvert is taught from a very young age (all of us in general) that he or she is a freak and is encouraged to interact with as many people as possible. The social ideal is to be a person with charisma and those who prefer to develop their own ideas alone are relegated.
Science indicates that ruling out "lone wolves" can be a mistake. A study published by Rutgers University proves that, in the long term, extroverts extroverts perform less in their jobs than introverts. This is partly explained by the fact that introverts are more able to listen, reflect and concentrate on their tasks.
Another virtue of introverts is punctuality, they don't like to bother anyone. While an extrovert is able to point out any flaws, introverts don't usually put anyone in the spotlight and if they perceive someone's mistake they often pretend they haven't noticed it.
Introverts are usually great readers. This activity makes them better informed about what they like, so they tend to be great professionals in their field. They're also considered modest people, they hate being the center of attention.
Unfortunately, spending so much time alone has a dark side. A study by the University of North Carolina has shown that introverted people are more at risk of depression and bipolar disorder, have more difficulty in finding a partner and making friends.
They also tend to tolerate stress worse, reason why their immune system is often more fragile and this exposes them to all kinds of infectious and chronic diseases.
What do you think about?, are you introverted 🙇 or extroverted 🙌 ?
