The first one is because I value science (most accurate knowledge possible currently for humanity) the most since it hopefully and beneficially informs all else we do in life. βοΈ
The second one is because I value all people living long and prospering as much as possible. (and Star Trek is awesome also) ππ½
The third one is because I love the environment and hope we all do our best to preserve it for future generations. π
The fourth one is because I love the values that the US Constitution developed originally and added to over time as people became more intellectually and morally enlightened and that most in my country (hopefully) still believe in. πΊπΈ
The fifth one is a heart next to humanist because I love humanity.
I β€οΈ HUMANS
The sixth one is to represent that I love ALL parts of humanity, no matter who they maturely and reasonably love in their own unique ways. π³οΈβπ
The seventh one represents the extra respect I personally have for women who value science. π©π½ββοΈ
The eighth and ninth symbols represent that black and white and all colors of humanity need to look each other in the eyes and care more for each other even with all of our genetic or cultural differences. π π
And finally, the tenth one represents the global and cosmic perspective that I believe will help all of us to love everyone more honestly and more compassionately. π We all share the same planet and have evolved into being the best species on the planet in my VERY BIASED opinion. hahaha :)
Nature and humanity have not been, currently are not, and likely never will be as "perfect" as hoped for, but they are all we have without a doubt and most certainly have awareness of as living beings. It might be fun, historically common, or emotionally satisfying in many ways to speculate about afterlives, past lives, or various future fantasy lands, etc., for ourselves and our loves ones. But I believe in doing my best to preserve and make THIS planet and THIS life a "heaven" or paradise on earth.
I hope this blog post makes it clear why I chose the symbols I chose for my profile but if not, please comment on what you have concerns with or would like to have clarified or any other thoughts or feeling you may have.
Thank you for reading this and I love you all (as much as humanly possible, hehe) and hope you are all as cool as I imagine and mostly trust that you truly are. π
Have a wonderful and joyful Sunday and may more light and love always fill your mind and heart!
And please don't forget, we are all made from the elements, made in the furnaces of long dead stars. Therefore, we are ALREADY beautiful, noble, and powerful beyond any of our wildest dreams.π€©
