구글 크롬은 지난 25일 새 업데이트를 발표하고 특정 사이트를 음소거할 수 있는 기능을 제공하기 시작했다. 같은 사이트에 접속해도 탭 별로 음소거를 해야 했던 과거와 달리 지금은 영상을 자동 재생하는 웹사이트를 영구적으로 음소거 할 수 있다.
사용 방법은 간단하다. 구글 크롬에서 영상을 자동 재생하는 웹사이트를 열고 해당 탭을 우클릭한 다음, ‘사이트 음소거’를 클릭하면 된다.
구글 크롬은 또한 이번 업데이트를 통해 팝업 광고를 차단하고 HDR 재생 기능을 추가한 바 있다. 보안 취약점을 개선하기 위해 SharedArrayBuffer의 사용도 금지했다. 지금 당장 업데이트해보세요!!
