'Self-Braking Trolley'
As part of his curious 'Interventions' initiative, Ford now shows us how its Pre-Collision assistance technology can be used not only for conventional cars, but also for shopping carts.

At this, Ford thought it was a good idea to modify one of these classic trolleys to create the 'Self-Braking Trolley', which has a sensor connected to a braking system on the front, which is activated when the sensor detects something or to someone in front of him, doing so slow down and slow down gradually.
Ford explains that its Pre-Collison Assist technology, which is available for several of its models, could prevent accidents and collisions not only inside the supermarkets, but also in the parking area where there are also often mishaps with the cars of the purchase.
As has happened with the projects of 'Interventions', this 'Self-Braking Trolley' is just a concept and so far there are no plans to create a commercial version or implement it in some supermarkets.
