A zombie with its headphones on,
Mind is still present but soul's gone,
Looking for meaning,
Searching for salvation,
It's hard to keep going with this ominous tone..
Exacerbated emotions as the mind kept pumping,
Although meaningless, it didn't stop jumping,
What if and what if not,
Are the precursors of the questions it's keep on bumping..
World's so calm now,
Almost wearing the cloak of the nature,
It seems so down now,
No signs of life, not a single creature..
It came across a pond,
To see if the fishes have spawned,
Alas, the pond was empty,
It felt like getting conned..
The reflection, however,
Was telling another story as ever,
Desperation got better of her when she uttered the words - "Don't you get lonely ? With the fate and destiny working together closely ?"
The question repeated itself without any answer,
Hope faded once again without leaving a single fur,
Hopeless, as she stared at her reflection,
"May be next time.." She whispered to her doppelganger dancer..
If despair and hope were to fight,
Who could win in the clear sight ?
May be hope, or despair might,
It doesn't matter, it never have been,
As long as the Sun's prognostication is right..
