It's time to leave
So in every mans(and womens) life, there comes a time when everything just gets too much and they need a break, That time has come for me. Due to the events that have occurred in the last few months my stress levels are at a maximum, I've been signed off of work, broken up with my girlfriend, lost my house and moved back in with my parents, so its time to Get the F--- out of here .
I've booked up a small camping spot at the New Forest, gotten our tents, sleeping bags and other equipment ready, and we're leaving tomorrow morning (It's currently 11.45 at night). On this trip I won't be using my phone or any technology for that matter that I don't 100% need. My days will be filled with reading, walking, swimming and refreshing myself, ready for what I assume will be the months of debt struggle to come.
The importance of having a break
The reason I'm bringing this up though is to remind everyone about the importance of giving yourself a break. The world is such a fast paced place, there's never a dull moment. It's incredibly easy to lose yourself in work or private matters and many people don't ever think to take a step back and relax and thus, get mentally burnt out.
Personally , I'm going to use this time to reflect on myself. Not my current issues, not anything else that usually plagues my mind. Instead I'm going to look to the future, relax and take my sweet time figuring out exactly what it is that I want to get out of life.
So hopefully this will be the first of many breaks to come, next place on the list; Japan's Hotspring Towns.
Thanks for reading, I hope you don't mind the mind splurge that are my posts, hopefully something I say will eventually help somebody :) See you all in just over a week.
