Your brain is extremely powerful! We have not even come close to reaching its full potential, there is a lot I want to explain about the brain but that will be for another post.
In this post I have a few interesting facts about our human brain that some of you might not know, I hope you enjoy!
1. The brain weighs about 3 Pounds or 1.5 Kilograms
2. It is estimated that your mind can perform 10,000,000,000,000,000 (10 quadrillion) operations per second
3. Your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between real and imaginary events
4. We have about 70,000 conscious thoughts per day
5. Our brain neurons can send information at speeds up to 270 Miles Per Hour (434 Kilometers Per Hour)
6. Your brain can heal your body by just your thoughts (Example: The Placebo Effect)
7. Your subconscious brain is capable of accurately predicting near future events (This still cannot be explained)
8. You are able to communicate without words using just consciousness (This has been shown in many autistic children)
9. The size of your brain has no direct correlation with intelligence
10. A baby's brain is about 80% the size of an adult brain
