You can make up all kinds of answers to Life’s challenges, try to find them in self-learning books or learn from famous teachers, but the real answers always come from inside you and that is why they work for you. You can’t learn these answers, because you have to find them deep inside you.
What can we do until we reach these answers within us? I’d like to give you a few mantras you can use when you’re facing one of Life’s challenges. They are simple, impossible to misinterpret, easy to use and they always work. All you need to do is be attentive and use these mantras diligently.
The first mantra
Use it if you are in a difficult situation where you have to make a choice out of millions of options with pro and contra arguments and you are unable to decide what to do. You’re playing these options over and over in your head but somehow you’re just not getting anywhere. You can also use this mantra if you want to do something but your mind is giving you hundreds of excuses for not doing it.
You need to say this to your mind in a very decisive manner, coming from the inside:
SHUTUP
Say it and just go on with your day. Continue doing your stuff and do not think. All of your problems will go away, because they only existed in your mind to start with.
The second mantra
Do this when something that you’re not prepared for happens in your life. Let’s say you get sick, your partner leaves you, or you lose some money. Say this mantra to yourself and really mean it, feeling it deep inside you. This is just an event that will pass, in a few years you’ll laugh about it if you’ll remember it at all. Just go on living your life, and let life’s events happen:
NEVERMIND
Just say: ‘Nevermind’, and that’s it. Take a deep breath and move on. That’s it, there is nothing to think about. If your mind gets preoccupied by worries and problems, go back to the first mantra and say that to your mind.
The third mantra
This mantra is the most powerful one, so only use it for serious life events, when you’re close to breaking down, or if there are too many expectations towards you and you just cannot fulfil them all. So take a deep breath and say this mantra inside you:
I DON’T GIVE A SHIT
And that’s it, nothing can touch you, you moved on.
But be careful not to use this mantra as an escape, when your mind doesn’t want to face a task that you need to complete. If your mind is playing tricks on you, wanting to avoid a certain task, then just go back to the first mantra and use that one instead.
The fourth mantra
Use this mantra if it’s not you who has a problem, but when you see something in someone else that you don’t like or cannot accept, and the previous mantras have not worked. This mantra teaches you to accept other people the way they are without any judgement. So if there is anything you see in someone else that you don’t like, just say this mantra:
AIN’TMYBUSINESS
(It can also be interpreted as: It’s not my business)
Say it and move on. This mantra will help you accept other people the way they are.
Of course these mantras will only help if you stop focusing on all the negative thoughts in your mind and if you really believe in their power. If you use them consciously and continuously, you’ll see an improvement in your life.
