Hello everyone, it's already Tuesday!!
Today I start this delicious #tuesdayofshootsndrinks where you will learn some cocktails and you can participate in contests to win prizes. This time I will show how to prepare a delicious drink with which you can spend a very tasty day. It is a “Sangria” with red wine, let's begin.
Sangria is a refreshing drink based on wine, mixed with some liquors where sweets usually predominate, in addition it mixes with fruits which gives it a characteristic aroma that makes it very desirable. Perfect to accompany any meal, also to be taken on the beach or on any summer day in which you want to combat the heat. It is served in a glass with ice decorated with finely chopped fruits.
To prepare it, you only need the following:
- Red wine (any strain, although to my taste a merlot is excellent for its light sweetness)
- Any type of fruit chopped into small squares (pineapple, melon, apple, strawberry, etc.).
- liquors: vodka, gin, triple sec and rum (one shot of each).
- Lemon soda (seven up / sprite).
Preparation:
In a pitcher add the chopped fruit (that completes a quarter of the jar), pour one by one the liquors on the fruit and gently add a bottle of wine. Now, complete the sangria with a glass of lime soda, shake lightly and go. On the other hand prepare the glasses, you must use glasses for red wine, to each add ice and some chopped fruit, you can also decorate with half a slice of orange in each glass. READY TO TASTE !! suuuper easy to prepare.
Note: this preparation as a standard measure uses a 1.5L pitcher. and a bottle of wine of 0.70Lts. with which you will get from 6 to 7 average cups.
