Well here we are in south central Pennsylvania. Labor day has come and gone. Kids are all back in school and are gearing up for halloween. Cool, huh?
It is anything but cool. It is hot as hades! Forecast for the high today is 80º F (27º C). Well, my marigolds are loving it. So let me share a couple of pics with you my friends. Here are my beauties still blooming in the beginning of Autumn:
No commercial fertilizer here. No MiracleGrow™added to these flowers. Just worm castings from Le Wermz as my dear friend @molovelly calls our little squirmy, hard working, composting friends.
Another friend comes to visit! This is a carpenter bee. No need to be afraid. These bees are pretty docile and only the females have stingers, the males do not. I am not sure whether this was a male or female. I did not get that close! Pollinate you little bugger, pollinate!
This little flower garden of mine draws honey bees, carpenter bees and butterflies! I like to go out most days and watch them go about their very important job of pollinating. They work hard to ensure we have air to breathe. Mother Gaia, Father God, the Creator, or Nature (depending on your universal outlook) is a wonderful thing to contemplate, beholding its creatures and how all living things are dependent on each other for their existence. Much like each of us here on SteemIt!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my pictures and enjoy the mysteries of creation with me. I wish everyone good fortune and blessings for you and your loved ones. Steem On my friends!
