Sunshine, Espresso and Van Halen stripes
Good morning, friends!
Sunshine, some espresso, mini champ, and the black/white EVH stripes today.
Do you believe everyone at face-value or do you notice what kind of fruit they bear? Think about this.
This is a difficult one for people to sometimes handle.
If I said to you, "Hey, there's an apple tree in the back yard. Can you please go pick some apples from it?" You go out to the tree in the back yard and there aren't any apples to pick from the tree. So, you return with 0 apples, and maybe even a little disappointment. But every day, I ask the same thing, "can you please get some apples from that tree?" The trick here is that it's not actually an apple tree; I only said it was.
But, quickly you become normalized that it should be giving you apples, but only because I've either implied it and/or said it directly--repetitively. And for a long time, you're under the impression that maybe someday, just maybe, you'll bring back some apples, but they're never there. Soon, resentment may set in.
Ignorance means you simply accept or don't know what kind of tree it actually is regardless of what people say it is & hope keeps you going back to the tree.
Today's Thought: Watch for what people say they are and the fruit they actually bear. It may save you a few trips going to the tree to find some apples.
