MY COMPUTER AND MOBILE PHONE WERE INFILTRATED BY MALWARES!
For about a week I was away from hive. That was caused by some setbacks at my Hub (office).
Firstly, a client came into my workspace with a flu. He wasn't looking so good. So I asked him what was wrong. He told me how he had just returned from a stressful journey and how his body has been aching. Just few minutes in the same space with him I began to experience nasal congestion - I was quite fine way before he came in.
The next day the feeling got worse. I started experiencing slight headache on my forehead and light pains in my eyes due to repeated rapid sniffing. I couldn't sit at my system to work for the next few days after the exposure. So I went for treatment and I am getting better by the day. I'm here now! šš
Secondly, another client came in three days after to get his pc troubleshooted. His HDD crashed. It was detached and connected to my PC so we could back up his files. Some malicious patch files in his drive sneaked their way into my PC. I got some notifications from my Antivirus but I ignored them because I thought those were false alarm - they were patch files and reg keys from a known graphic design software installation folder.
In no time, my computer started malfunctioning. File Explorer wont load, my browsers developed hitches and all my Hive Dapps expecially ecency which I use the most returned blank screens.
It was a bit difficult to come in here as my mobile phone was also infected by the virus. Unaware that I had it connected to my computer while the infiltration happened, the malware sneaked into my phone.
I am so glad that I successfully scanned and disinfected all my devices. It was a very long time of wait but it was worth it. Everything is going just fine now, including my health.ššš
I am back, better and stronger.
So, at this point I want to really apologise to everyone for those days of inactivity. The hitches caused a little setback for me and affected my productivity a bit. I won't let that happen again.
I missed you all. I am trying to catch up with the numerous updates from a lot of people and communities.
