This is what focus looks like (yes I know my top needs cleaning) and thanks to @dayleeo for the photo itโs super rad.
Lots to talk about, lots to do, research to be made, all the things, spinning all the plates, avoiding the rain, doing a million things at once. The usual to be honest but today should be a packed day.
We just registered via the upgrade for the audio hijack 3 so we should be able to record a little starting podcast today, Iโm going to record a video for @dtube shortly to explain that process.
I also want to record another one about a great little application I found from @steemhunt โ one of my favourite daily driver places to hang out (I post there exactly at 3pm each day)
Everything is kinda bedlam right now but in a good way , new t-shirts are our way for projects and well we are just in one of those ramp up moments while the crypto downturn continues. like Iโve always said you wanna be crushing that on the residuals when things slow down.
weirdly for the past two days they have been bringing in double figure students and over 200 premium minutes a day (so thatโs kinda awesome) and the payout comes in tomorrow, nice to get a residual bump in the middle of the month.
paypal is potentially going to accept litecoin
Kinda weirded out by this really because firstly itโs reported that โ https://theusacommerce.com/heres-why-paypal-will-start-accepting-litecoin-ltc-in-2018 and then today we see coinbase say this - http://fortune.com/2018/02/15/bitcoin-paypal-coinbase-commerce so I presume they are trying to take some fire out of the story or at least re-direct attention to coinable, I wonder if they are looking to get acquired, can you imagine if coinbase was acquired by PayPal? Remember folks you heard it here first.
Either way, Iโm pretty down with this positive news about litecoin because Iโve always liked litecoin and itโs more of a test bed for experimental features that we would really like to see be in the bitcoin coin in my eyes.
drake plays with ninja
crazy as it might seem the internet had a bit of a meltdown in the live streaming gaming world last night with over 600k concurrent viewers smashing the previous record of @drdisrespect on the popular streaming platform @twitch - bear in mind that drake has over 36.8m followers and that just the one tweet from drake playing with ninja last night had 203k of likes and 111k of retweets โ now thatโs real audience engagement.
Imagine if @dlive took their game to the next level how much of an impact snagging a top end player on @dlive would be, I really hope to see something like that happen in the next six months on the platform, they should certainly be doing outreach to clans globally โ I have some ideas on that project but itโs gonna have to wait for now! :)
Kim dot com added to the fuel about ninja playing with drake and it was like the hip hop world met the gaming world last night, long should this cross over continue and it brings awesome audience development to the twitch platform.
@drdisrespect gets swatted
Also in a bizarre turn of events last night @drdisrespect was swatted live on camera (swatted being that a swat team was alerted to his house) by some blond punk kids (as the doc would say) basically calling the authorities to I presume his house.
However did this was someone that thought it would be a fun idea made himself look an idiot and the doc came back with full force shortly after it happened โ itโs certainly an area that needs looking at and like @dayleeo said this morning some kind of โstreamer whitelistโ would probably be a good idea, even thou I get that could be hacked too.
I thought it was especially bad taste in that if it was his home that his wife and kids maybe live at the same residence. I hope not and I sincerely hope that it was a separate business location that he has because no child should have to go through that โ check out and do a search on twitter to find out more details of last night.

Last night I downloaded an app that looked like a fusion between meet up and some kind of blockchain powered identity payment gather with payments built in โ I thought it would be awesome to be able to host say crypto training at a venue and know the people who were coming and take payment.
But actually it turns out that it was some kind of dating app that looks like itโs using that shady technique of putting โblockchainโ in itโs name to be more relevant which tbh is a shady ass tactic that needs to stop being used, now I hate the app and am deleting it because itโs not what it says it is.
(Which is super ironic!)
