I totally gapped the weekend in some regards β with friday turning into a saturday pickup and then yesterday me thinking that sunday was really saturday, I was kinda wounded inside that I couldnβt have a drink and watch a film, lost a day somehow and now itβs monday, mid week is february too!
So itβs game face time right? We found out a few days ago that they pulled the social for βthis monthβ and in some ways while it effects us financially both of us have made moves in the last two to three months to get to a better place, Iβve got a week before I start paying up some bigs all around.
It feels good to be honest, to pay back what is outstanding and then engage the plan for february, fixing up the car and heading out into the wilds and showing dayle some of this fantastic English countryside we have when the weather turns better, back to places we loved to photowalk.
Currently the rain is pattering away on the roof, one thing I will say about the life we have now is that when we get into work we can blast through it, even if I get four or five sprints in thatβs enough to keep all boats rising together. Iβm having that sunday feeling on a monday.
Universe had an interesting way of showing me what work I needed to be doing this month by giving me 3x times my skillshare residual to balance our the funds Iβd need because the other client job fell away, funny how things balance out β time to crank out those videos in February.
The thing is about February is people are still rebalancing from the christmas period, most monthly people are gasping for air for the end of January regarding money they overspent at christmas so February is an eco round until the end of the month when things are a little more flush.
As a freelance digital worker the best time for your clients to come back to you is often around the end of feb and into march, best to grab them before they start booking holidays away as they probably have been part paying them for the last six months to year and after they are away you wonβt catch them until late July or august time β know your clients habits!
so independent freelancers start your monday engines, two days to go until the end of the month, forty eight sweet hours for you to sprint into feb, promote those residuals to pick up those last few people potentially looking to learn something new into the new year β itβs the perfect time.
