This evening, the weather was absolutely perfect for a stroll around the neighborhood. Once the sun started setting the temperatures dropped into the 70s and it was quite delightful.
I got the boys motivated, and grabbed the wagon (in case they got tired) and we headed off!
The first thing we saw when we started our walk was a neighborhood cat down at the end of the road. It became our mission to find this kitty! We walked down to the end of the road, but he had already wandered away!
We did find two very interesting tag alongs that made sure to follow us our whole way down the road...the boys’ shadows!
It’s a magical thing when you see something as simple as a shadow...bring such joy to your children! It really helps you to appreciate their sweet innocence...and also miss your own!
We saw beautiful flowers growing on a neighbors fence!
I’m always a little jealous by the surrounding neighbors’ abilities to landscape! As I’ve said before...I have no green thumb!
We came upon a honeysuckle bush, and I got a little nostalgic! I showed the boys how to pull out the middle and suck out the tiny drop of nectar...as I had done hundreds of times as a child!
When we got back to the house...the boys just didn’t feel ready to go inside...and I don’t blame them! They brought some of their action figures outside and played with them as well!
We sure love Spring!
