I am not a h4x0r, and once took a course in Basic computer program use at a community college in 1980. If anyone could be less competent to understand what the BTC mempool exploit is and how it works, I have not met them.
However, there are competent coders on Hive, and many people with significant assets invested in BTC and similar cryptocurrency assets, so I release this information without any pretense I understand the exploit or what it means, except that it is described as related to the Lightning Network, and apparently means bad actors can take your money.
Anyone that can better explain in layman's terms what this means will help me to understand, and hopefully help folks with BTC holdings to secure their assets.
