Editing a video is sometimes referred to as cutting a video. This is because in the days before editing software, films were manually cut by hand and stuck back together.
Today we interchange the words cut and edit, so sometimes you may hear me say something along the lines of; make an edit here or let's add a cut just here, they mean exactly the same thing.
So today we are going learn how to make basic edits and get a handle on the most used buttons and tools within the Lightworks program.
