Just before start time I get a call about a house fire. When one of our customers is involved, we go out to make sure that our electric lines won’t cause any further damage or create another hazard for the firefighters. This one blew the fuse in the underground transformer with left the neighbors out of power as well.

I guess it was a good thing that this was just the shop and not the house. After a bit we were able to identify which cables went to the shop, the main house and the new house. They were all fed off of one meter. God forbid you label anything... Anyway after an hour or so we got the power back on to the house and his neighbors. The shop... well it has seen better days...

Off to a good start after a week long vacation...
