HAPPY TUESDAY (FOR TOMORROW)
I have been out visiting family today, it was a last minute plan so other plans got pushed back, those plans being my rest days after going out shopping on Saturday. I managed to go but felt so tired and sore all day.
Its just over an hour car ride there so I kept myself busy taking photos of our journey to show you, we have beautiful green land that hopefully stays that way. Thankfully it's a straight road with the odd turn off, hubby has to drive now as I can't do it.
This is us starting off, hitting the long road that goes on for a good 50 minutes. Lots of Green fields and trees, lots of fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Then we come to a restaurant that we have tried once, we were travelling the same route quite a while ago, we were all hungry so thought why not, its looks a lovely place plus the car park is always quite full. It was around the start of Winter so was pretty cold. The restaurant/ Public house looked nice inside, so we took a, seat, there was about 5 of us. We all went for the soup to start as I said it was cold so thought it would warm us for the rest of our journey. We didn't stick around for the mains as the soup was watery, with only a a few slice of vegetables and a lot of Black Pepper, we told the waiter who then told the Chef who then offered us a different starter which we declined then left. We all felt sick for the rest of our way, we haven't been back.

We drove straight past, we call it the Hot Pepper Stop, we won't be going again. We then drove on a little further where we come to the Petrol stop that has an American Diner, I really want to try this so this will be our next stop when we need something to eat.

The rest of the way is mostly beautiful scenery plus the clouds were looking really nice so to a few photos.

I carried on taking photos, I took so many some I hand had to delete as taking them in a moving car isn't the best idea. We still had quite a way to go with even more green fields and lots of clouds.

We then drove past my favourite view, its really beautiful with the trees and mountains plus the fluffy clouds.

We then arrived at the start of the little town we were heading for Thirsk, its such an idyllic place and the people are so nice. If I win a lot of money I would pack up and move here, its the perfect place to retire.

We then reached the town, its particularly busy at the moment as the market stalls are on. There are some lovely shops here with plenty of eating places. We love a slow stroll here, we've even picked out where we would love to live but have to wait until we win the lottery.

We stayed for a couple of hours testing ourselves to a lovely lunch of Fish and Chips at a lovely cafe then back in the car to come home. The journey home was a slow one as the roads were extra busy. When I got home I was shattered, straight into my PJs with a nice cup of coffee to finish my day, tomorrow I am staying in bed all day.
Thank you for visiting. 💟💟
