HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE ❤️
Its amazing how more relaxed we are now we know that Mika isn't going to be leaving us. We have had another phone call with the Vets, Mika is booked in for 9am on Monday morning she has to stay there for 4 hours, its going to break my heart leaving her and I Know she will be anxious about not seeing our faces. The tests take 4 hours then we will know for definite if it is Cushings Disease, I would put money on it as she's has all the symptoms. She is on Gabapentin at the moment, these have stopped her panting, drinking so much and peeing. She's a lot calmer and sleeping a lot better as are me and Glen, We were up numerous times through the night making sure she was still breathing. Once we get the diagnosis she will be on Steroids for the rest of her life. Thankfully it's not Mikas time, we will be hanging on to her for as long as we can.
CHANGING THE SUBJECT
My husband started a new reef tank a few months ago, he's had so many problems getting it right, the nitrate was to high, then the salt in the water was wrong, he was using 2 different fish suppliers. We have stopped using one as he's not quite as professional as he should be. He lost a couple of fish, then had problems with the corals thankfully the tank is spot on now and looking really good.

Once the corals grow they will cover the Rock, he will then start covering the living rock that's in the corner. I love watching the shrimp especially the red one, when Glen puts his fingers in to feed them the shrimp comes to clean Glens fingers.
We still have to keep fans running to cool the room down as the rising temperatures can raise the temperature of the tank. The tank has to stay between 24 to 28c or 76 to 82°F. We also have a large tank with Musk and Cooter Turtles, we are planning on putting a pond in our side garden especially for the Cooters as they are now the size of tea plates, but that's for another post.
Thank you for visiting 💟💟
