This morning I listened to an audiobook, which called "Romeo and Juliet", and then I asked myself a question, does the love story happen in modern society?
A while later I got an answer; it doesn't happen in the modern society.
I think people seldom automatically read or listen to this story except for the textbook in school, another way to know this story is parents' telling.

First, now young people's view of love has changed. Who would die just because of another person has gone. Each person is not alone in the world, family, friends, lust for life and so on, everyone has to undertake duties, easily abandon life now people think is not responsible, so the old love story does not happen in the modern time.
Second, today's communication between people is fast and timely. Romeo at today doesn't misunderstand Juliet's pretend death, Juliet could tell him everything she has planned, as long as she called Romeo on a smartphone, everything would be ok so he wouldn't kill himself yet, and this story wouldn't occur at all.
In general, the social background that the love story lies on has already dramatically changed.

So, what we get from this story, one point is information is valuable, a wrong message might destroy one's life. Therefore we should grasp correct information as possible as we can since accurate information can save a life and it can also make other benefits too.
I think that one book has multiple uses, you can read or listen to it for enjoyment, or you can utilize it to make money, or even you can send it to a friend as a gift, and this depends on how people use it.
But the most important is we should have open-minded thought and mentality to deal with it then we will get much benefit whether it was old or new.
罗密欧与朱丽叶这样古老的爱情故事还会发生在现代社会吗？我们能不能从中有所收获。
早上听了一本有声书“罗密欧与朱丽叶”，听完后我问自己，这样的爱情故事会发生在今天这个社会吗？我们能不能从中有所收获。
考虑了一下后，我觉得这样的故事不会再发生在现代社会里了。我认为除了学校的教科书之外，人们不会去读或听这样的一本书，可能父母们会给孩子讲这个故事也说不定。
有些原因导致年轻人不再热衷于这样的故事。
第一、年轻人的恋爱观已经跟从前不一样了，没有谁会因为另一个人的死，而放弃生命。在这世上每个人都不是孤立的，家庭、朋友、热爱的生活等等，每个人都有必须履行的责任，今天的人们认为轻易地放弃生命是不负责任的行为，因此这样老式的爱情故事不会发生在当今这个时代。
第二、现在人们之间的通讯已经是非常迅捷及时的，罗密欧在今天不会对朱丽叶的假死误判了，朱丽叶打个电话，把他的计划告诉罗密欧就完了，他就不会自杀，这个故事根本就不会发生。
总的来说，这个故事赖以存在的社会环境已经发生了翻天覆地的变化。
我们能从这样的故事中得到什么启示呢，有一点是非常有价值的，错误的信息可能会要人的命，因此我们要尽可能地获取正确的信息，因为正确的信息能救人，也可能带来其它的益处。
在这件事中，我们看到对于这个故事，你可以用它来消磨时光，也可以把这个故事卖点钱，这完全看人们怎么运用它了。
我认为一本书是有多种用途的，你可以读或听故事，享受生活；也可以卖书赚点钱；或者可以当做礼物送给朋友，这全看你怎么利用它了。
最重要的是我们应有开放的思想和心态来处理事情，这样不论新的或老的事情，我们都能从中收获满满。
