A few years ago I have come to watch a BBC film called 'Parallel Universes'. I will quote the film's description here and then elaborate on the practical implications of the theory:
"Scientists now believe there may really be a parallel universe - in fact, there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and we just happen to live in one of them. These other universes contain space, time and strange forms of exotic matter. Some of them may even contain you, in a slightly different form. Astonishingly, scientists believe that these parallel universes exist less than one millimeter away from us. In fact, our gravity is just a weak signal leaking out of another universe into ours."
This, I think, is the first time that science recognizes what spiritual theories have been claiming for many years - since the sixties of the 20th century - when Seth's innovative material was first channeled through Jane Roberts.
But what does it mean?
Why should the layman be interested to know about the "M" theory, the Multi-universe hypothesis and such notions? Why should one care? Actually, one does not need to understand the theory to benefit its ramifications. Nevertheless, since our rational minds have the tendency to disregard anything that is beyond the perceived reality and thus to block us from connecting and using the other dimensions, it's good to have this scientific reassurance.
So basically it's simple. There are infinite universes. In some there are intelligent lives; in some, there are even our lives, lived by other "us" who may be different from us by minute details. That in itself is not exciting. For, why should one care about one's identical in a parallel universe that lives exactly the same lives as one does?
Oh, the "big deal" resides in the universes in which one's identical is not identical. Imagine if you will – and mind you, now physics has proven that your imagining exercise is real - that there is another universe in which your identical loves, and who is richer, more successful, more loved and more healthy than you are. If you can't imagine ONE person who has all those characters imagine different "you's" who live in different universes. Now, what if you could tune yourself to those realities and merge with them? By that, bringing those lofty and desired conditions into your physical lives here?! This merging will make you richer than you are now, just like that parallel you is. Or healthy, or loved. Anything you want.
Now, that IS exciting!
How you do that?
How do you connect to that exalted you to become him/her? The answer is simple. You Choose. And I have written lengthily about the choice as a way to change your reality. The way to change your life is by choice.
Science has made us, the spiritualists, a great service, because now we can back our words with hard evidence. So far we had to convince our listeners that they can change their lives to the better. They had to battle their stubborn mind to release its grip on the perceived reality. Now the mind's consent may be easier to achieve.
