"And to the angel of the church in laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true witness, the origin and beginning and author of God's creation. I know your works and what you are doing; You are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot. So because you are Luke warm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:14-16).
According to Collins English dictionary, Lukewarm is having or showing little zeal or enthusiasm. A Luke warm Christian will often pick popularity over what is right. Their deep desire is centered on how to look good in the eyes of the church and the world. All they care about is how people see them instead of what God thinks of them. James 1: 8 says that " A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. He has no say of his own. His words and actions are not originally thought processed. Luke warms do not belong anywhere in God's kingdom.
As Christians, it is not enough to just live a life of lukewarm. It is not enough to just go to church, listen to worship songs and partake in small groups. It takes more to be a Christian. It's not just about being a nice person, you should be proclaiming his name. God does not want to add another lukewarm Christian to his list, he wants you to be either all in for him or not at all.
