💀 BUG DEATH #1 💀

Shooting photos of bugs can be a lot of fun, but sometimes you come across a gruesome find. This is life for an insect. They face death with every step.

The rail on my fence is a treacherous place. There is a constant line of ants running back and forth along it, tearing apart anything that gets in their way. I am not sure what this bee was thinking. Maybe it was tired and needed a rest, maybe it was losing its precious load of pollen and had to make an emergency landing. Whatever the reason was, it was a bad choice. The ants tore it to pieces then carted it back to the tribe for a feast.
You could say the bee really lost his head, or was it it's body?

Naaa. There is it's body. The ants are trying to squeeze it through the gap in the fence. I have done house removals with a friend in the past and I can tell you, they aint getting it through there! Sometimes we had to dismantle furniture to get it through the door. Thats what these guys will have to do to get it through that small crack. Good luck fellas!
