There are more things I am thankful for than I can count! Each day I wake up I feel a deep sense of gratitude. Like most people, I have had my share of hardships, heartache and sorrow. And there have been times of great joy and love in my life too. Be it good times or bad times, I am thankful for the experience.
For this challenge, I've selected a small sample things for which I am thankful that I'd like to share.
Blue Urn
To symbolize all of the family and friends I have lost. Funerals are one thing that don't seem to get easier with practice.
Heart in a Box
A symbol of all the times I have moved/relocated.
Speech Bubbles
Being the new kid at school wasn't much fun for me.
Sourpuss
The me I used to be most of the time (not as thankful as I might have ought to been).
Seashell
A symbol of nature – I've always been in love with nature since as long as I can remember!
die Katze
Some little girls love horses, some love dolphins. Personally I was obsessed with cats.
Scissors
To symbolize arts & crafts, a lifelong passion.
Superstar
The me I am today, thankful to be on this journey!
WIP and notes
Thanks for letting me share what makes me thankful.
Finally, THANK YOU to @artwatch for holding the challenge! This reflection time has been a worthwhile exercise. You are a gem of a steemian. ☺
