Being on the small island that Malta is, I take the opportunity to spend some time in the evening by the sea. Such a calming place, listening to the sound of the waves, even when surrounded by the city, its sounds, noises, and loud music coming from bars and boat parties.
The colour of the horizon during sunset is always a marvel. Golden hues provide a wonderful background for any (pirate) ship (actually hosting a boisterous boat party) passing in front. And towards the east, the mystical pink of Venus's Belt makes the clouds glow beautifully for a few minutes.
