Manali is the hillstation situated in Indian state Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the best place to experience snow fall.
Few days ago,I along with my three friends visited Manali. We booked our bus ticket online by redbus from Chandigarh to Manali scheduled on 1 June,2018 and bus departed at 8:30 p.m. We were super excited for the trip as we havent visited any hillstation earlier.
On next day we reached around 6 a.m early in the morning. It was very cold,i was shiverring with cold .The temperature
was around 7 °C. We checked for hotel room,we enquired in about 2-3 hotels, and finally we checked in one of the small hotel which we could afford. It costed us Rs.1500 for 24 hrs. 
On First day: We ate aloo paratha,from nearby dhava which was super tasty and we decided to rest for some time as it was severe cold there. After taking sufficient rest,we decided to go out and enjoy the beauty of Manali. Firstly we booked ticket for next days Rohtang pass trip which is around 51 km from Manali,situated at the height of 3979 m .
We clicked many photos ,we went to nature park and Van Vihar National park which was very beautiful.we spent some time sitting on the park. Many tourist also visited the park. It was full of fun ,we enjoyed a lot.
2nd day: on next day early morning,we got ready for Rohtang pass trip.we got up early in the morning and had breakfast .Bus was scheduled at 9:30 a.m in the morning.we got into the bus. Though the distance is only 51 km ,it took around 4:30 hrs beacuase of busy road,narrow passage,and curvy slopes and roads.Besides, if you really want to travel stress-free, better you take a local car and a driver to chauffer you to Rohtang or you may rent a bike which would be a better option.if you are visiting snow point, bargain for snow cloths. driver may mislead and take you to his known shop. you just bargain. never ever hire a guide there. it will be waste of money but snow cloths are must if you are visitng snow poit because if your cloths are wet it will be a big problem . we paid Rs.250 for the snow dress and shoes.
Finally we reached Rohtang pass,though there was no snowfall,but snow was spread over the entire area,we could see the clouds just moving above. We played by throwing snow on each other,we rolled over the snow .It was full of fun.Though there was cold,but it was good. there were lot of people came there.
After having lots of fun,we returned back to manali at around 4:30 p.m. There was heavy jam on the road,somehow we reached manali.we again clicked photos there,ate icecream in the cold, tasted pani puri.
And then at 9:30 pm on the same day,we returned back to Chandigarh with the bus
We did full on Masti with friends!!
