The Mapala project's goal is to make travelling affordable for anyone. We want to erase the conditional borders between countries, nations, religions and cultures, unite people in communities and create proper and pure relations between the participants based on reputation and mutual assistance.
We have serious plans for the project development and creation of an international community with p2p relations and game mechanics. At the moment, the beta version is represented through a platform for travel bloggers. All posts on mapala.net are shown on Golos\Steem according to the chosen language (Russian or English) due to integration with their blockchains through the buffer architecture.
We are well known at golos.io and over 1000 Golos users exploit our platform. We have two top 19 Golos delegates in our team. We announced our service at steemit.com when we were launching the alpha version, but at that time, we were focused on coding and could not pay enough attention to the project promotion on steemit.com.
We want to make it up, so we bring to your attention a beta version of mapala.net!
This is a completely new frontend designed from scratch.
The first thing you notice when the site is loading is a magic color scheme with a harmonic combination of elements.
On the main page on the left side of the screen, you can see the posts feed. You can scroll it down to browse the articles posted on the site.
Then your sight smoothly moves to a map with geotags which show the location of geographical objects on the map, this element fits harmoniously into the design concept. We decided not to use the standard Google Maps style and changed it to a new one suitable for the Mapala concept. But if you click on the Satellite tab, the map will turn to the standard Google Maps view.
The zoom in/out function is perfectly implemented, you can zoom in/out very smoothly.
When you move the mouse over a geotag, a post presentation appears.
And when you click on a geotag, a post itself appears, so you can read it all, evaluate it and comment on it.
You can scroll to other posts of this author by clicking on the left and right arrows on the sides of the post. To close the post, click on the cross in the upper right corner or click the mouse over the gray area.
We added a new post editor fully customized for the Mapala concept.
A separate interface was created for the Mapala blog, so the users could easily find useful and up-to-date information on the project.
Also, we have made changes to the account and wallet settings. Now you can connect to the Golos/Steem blockchains in the settings.
And in your personal wallet you can see your balance in GBG and Golos.
Dear friends! Let me remind you that it is just the first release of the beta version. We will be always developing and improving the site, we never stop working on it.
In this regard, we have a big favour to ask from you: show understanding and help us with you feedback on all the bugs you notice. From our side, we can assure you that we will carefully look through all your suggestions on improvements/additions.
Together we will make mapala.net better!
