This week's distributed profits are 0.501%, equivalent to an APR of 26.1%.
The gross income was 0.668%, with 10% going towards management and development and 15% to support the MAP community. Please note that I have increased the distribution to 75% of gross profits, an increase from 72%.
Profits will be paid today to SP delegators in STEEM.

As discussed last week, the continuing drop in STEEM and SBD prices, combined with the sustained high level of recent_claims compared to the reward_balance, means that returns on upvoting continue to drop. This has also been a difficult week with the Steem blockchain suffering some glitches, resulting in an inability to vote during some periods.
In pure STEEM terms, upvotes are currently worth 0.47% per week per SP. Adjusted for 25% curation rewards, 50-50 payouts and the blockchain price of SBD ($1.99 as of writing) this yields 0.53% per week per SP. Please note that in just three weeks, this yield has dropped from 0.88% to 0.53%, and will fall further as the official STEEM price catches up with the market price (of $1.66 as of writing). Within this context, our gross profit is very good and our distributed rewards are close to the maximum expected from pure upvoting.
Those of you who delegate to bidbots should look at your actual returns as a percentage of SP; you will see that those too have fallen, some of them below what we at MAP Rewarder have been achieving.
As also mentioned last week, the falling price of STEEM does affect our earnings but stable low prices would actually increase our profitability. This is in theory, so we shall see next week whether this proves to be true in practice.
Most importantly, I feel we have done very well within a turbulent environment, with gross income continuing to be above the average for the market as a whole. But we have two missions: to be profitable to delegators and to support our minnow content creators. The @accelerator account, ignoring the delegated SP, is growing slowly but steadily and forms the basis of our upvotes to minnows who are MAP members.
Advice
As part of our MAP Rewarder strategy, all posts by @accelerator will, at some point, receive an upvote from a bidbot. I usually leave this for a few hours to allow our followers to upvote our posts before the arrival of a larger upvote. I know that a few have noticed this and are taking advantage of the opportunity to earn some extra curation rewards. Look at any post with large upvotes and you will see that some of the early upvoters are earning back even more than their upvote! The power of mathematics. :-)
To do so means either following just the posts of @accelerator or also the upvotes given out. This can be done within an app such as SteemAuto. Using the language used on SteemAuto, following and upvoting just the @accelerator posts is called the Fanbase; following our upvotes to earn extra curation rewards is called the Curation Trail.
