Welcome to this week's review.
Two landmarks to report about: the MAPX ABV is back above unity; and we are close to 9,000 tokens being sold.
As you can see from the figures below, the MAPX ABV is now at 1.021, so each token is now worth slightly above 1 STEEM, just based on the assets of the fund, ignoring the upvote value. This has been due to two factors: the slowly increasing market price of a MAPX token and the holdings in MAPR.
You may also notice we now have a rather large holding in "Other STEEM". This is largely in MAPR and the new MAPXV, so I have no worries about the capital liabilities in these tokens. However, having reached certain positive milestones, the next target is to convert some of those holdings into Steem Power. This is now necessary as the delegation-mining will stop in a few weeks. However, trading MAPR tokens has been profitable so, as always, there is a balance to be struck.
Before the data, a reminder that our new TULIP token and game has been launched and is most likely to start on Thursday 8th August (or the 7th, depending on your timezone). Plenty of free TULIPs currently available in contests, just look at recent posts.
Please note that I always qualify any forward predictions as they are subject to technical issues such as the proper functioning of the blockchain and our own algorithms. We are also aware that HF21 is imminent although there is no fixed date as yet.

MAPX ABV = 1.021 STEEM
Note that "Other STEEM" is the sum of all holdings not powered up as SP: liquid STEEM and SBD plus holdings within Steem Engine to maintain market liquidity plus some investments; we also now have stakes in MAPR, PAL and LEO, and some others, and receive rewards from them. Also note that values are volatile, especially any holdings priced in US$, so the above numbers are a snapshot and may have changed when you look at the @MAP10K account.
The Asset Backed Value (ABV) is our total holdings calculated in STEEM divided by the number of active MAPX tokens, whether staked or unstaked. This shall be used as the lowest price we offer MAPX tokens on the Steem Engine market.
