Steady as she goes! Even if the price of STEEM plunges to Arctic levels.
With yesterday being our weekly reporting day, there really isn't a lot to add today. Indeed, just worth pointing out that I may not post every single day. Yes, the rewards are useful, but sometimes one project needs particular attention while the others are on semi-automatic. This doesn't mean anything bad has happened, or is happening, just that my finite time is needed elsewhere.
On the subject of "bad things happening", we are in the midst of many changes within the Steem ecosystem, such as the evolution of Steem Engine and Tribes plus the imminent HF21. The chances of everything going smoothly are negligible! So if any of our services should go offline or appear sporadic, I usually notice and can activate Plan B while the issues are being dealt with.
We had this experience with MAPX and the best thing was to keep members informed, wait for the issue to be fixed and then calculate any compensation for down-time. This has usually been an increase in votes for a few days. I cannot easily over-ride the upvote percentages as they still update automatically, so would be a time-consuming exercise in futility, especially not having psychic knowledge about when everybody is going to post.
We now have five delegation-miners with a combined SP of 13,400. If you are considering earning tokens through delegating SP, then please read the launch post as the token-mining rate is different to MAPX.
Total voting power at the moment stands at just under 14,060 SP, which is a great start to the program. In contrast, sales remain modest and slowly creeping up. I suspect all eyes are on the STEEM market price. This means few people are watching one of the most important parameters of the Steem economy: the value of an upvote in STEEM per SP. That value is creeping upwards in line with the increase in the reward pool. The best remedy for this is to upvote more! It is the only activity that generates rshares.
For a post that was about saying nothing, that wasn't too shallow!
