This one shows how to make a needle whipping for those who need something more durable and less subject to chafing.
I seem to do each one a little different than the last. But hopefully this will give you the general idea.
The main attribute of the needle whipping is the frapping turns. That is the stitching that goes around the strands that make up the actual whipping.
Because of the frapping turns, some of the wraps of the whipping can be cut and the whipping won’t unravel.
