This is huge. I'm really happy that this is being allowed for me to share.
Wow.
And they are rocking. It's going to be a regular show as well. I'm getting behind on shows.
I'm super excited to be able to attend this event.
Not only is Angels disciples going to be representing with Grant Master Darren however there is also going to be all sorts of other amazing martial artists 20 in total.
This is a huge opportunity for high level Filipino martial arts instructors to showcase their arts skills and abilities.
And I will just say right now I am going as a student and I wish to learn as much as I can no matter what my experience level happens to be I can always be a little bit better and I try to be humble about my abilities.
However honestly I have been doing it all wrong for the past 20 years and recently I've been learning how to do it right. Actually getting the experience to go train with Grand Master Darren last summer I was floored at the quality of instruction in just two classes.
You'll find that in martial arts there is amazing amounts of respect especially for your lineage and your instructors.
When I was around 17 18 years old I became aware of the Filipino martial arts and as well ended up with a passion for learning it.
One of the main arts that I got exposed to was only from a book and I was pretty passionate about my views.
Needless to say 20 years later I actually get a chance to train with Grandmaster Darren himself. Having a legendary individual actually be your friend as well as an amazing human being and then on top of it he's also a grand master of an art that is absolutely phenomenal.
I'll be honest I have not seen such quality of training by an entire group that I saw with Grand Master Darren.
Getting the invitation and being allowed to help promote and raise awareness for legacy 8 in my own way as well as be able to help afford getting there I'm really appreciative.
And open invitations are out to both ihiphop TV as well as Grand Master Darren and I'll be blogging about the events and our travels here and I believe 2 weeks. Legacy 8 is December 4th. And we will be representing the blockchain to these guys.
And this event really is a legendary thing having so many honest professional martial artists come together in unity to share their arts and cultures.
