t's hard to forget the events that took place around this time last year in March when the war in Ukraine began. At the time, a group of pyrotechnicians dedicated their Mascletàs to raise awareness about the conflict. This act caused many in Valencia to question the ethics of celebrating while a war was breaking out elsewhere.
This year, Pirotecnia Tamarit continued the tradition by dedicating their Mascletà to support the Ukrainian people on March 14th. It's natural to wonder how people from war zones would react to a Mascletà. For some, it might be traumatizing. One of our close acquaintances had to live through a war, and even after over 20 years, it still affects her to this day.
