Polygon Matic blockchain

If somebody would be able to create an EVM {Ethereum Virtual Machine} for the Hive Blockchain than that would be awesome. And if memory serves me well then Hive member Klye is actually working on that. Of course it would be known as the HVM {Hive Virtual Machine}. All you need is enough RC to use the smart contracts. Maybe the creators of Hive-Engine will be the ones to do it, as that team delivered Smart Media Tokens. Where the Hive Blockchain development has its focus on scaling, speed and bringing down the need for resources. Great to see these dynamics at work.

But, I wanted something different to try. Never really had gotten into that DeFi {Decentralized Finance} thing when it first got hyped. Value creating value? Just like that? And it still seems odd to me. Blockchains like EOS, Binance and Ethereum lost my interest, but then came Poly. Cheap to use, fast enough and with future plans that sounded good to me. Heck, why not risk some of my Crypto stash on that Blockchain? Making sure I only put in what I am willing, and can effort, to lose. (Yes, that is like a warning sign...)

Some Poly Doge stuff

Wether I like it or not, Elon Musk is a huge influencer when it comes to Cryptocurrencies. His support for Dogecoin really made a lot of DOGE owners happy. And there have been lots of smart contract barking projects that really took off. And at first I bought some Tokens on the Polygon Matic blockchain that absolutely made no sense to me. Because I did not want to get into anything that was referring to mister Musk or Doge. But why?

So, when I got my brain working again I decided to look for things that actually seemed to work. That way I found out about PolyDoge, not even knowing it had its own DAO {Decentralized Autonomous Organization}. And before I knew it I was a PolyDoge Billionaire. Now, what could I do with that fortune, perhaps buy eFBee? Make it a truly Freedom of Expression platform? Hive is probably a better bet in that. Though it is not perfect. At least I can still publish there even if I have a unique take on things going on in the world. (Which does not mean I will actually be able to earn Hive by doing so. Au contraire, mon ami...)

Farming, Yielding and Compounding

When I found the PolyDoge DAO page and added it to my TokenPocket wallet I finally was able to get into the DeFi game! At first I only vested my Polydoge. Now I knew how it felt to be a Billionaire like mister Musk. And I was able to make a whooping 0.3 percent on it. No, that is not per year, it is per day! Go to any Bank these days, ask for cash, they aint got it, you can order it though... Then ask them how much interest they will offer you if you stash your savings at their place. And then you hear '0.1' percent. Per year that is! And when you have too much savings? Well, then you'll pay them for making it possible to rent it out. Sure Cryptocurrencies are volatile, but Banking seems like a shitdeal. Its money losing value faster and faster. So, what to do?

When I noticed that there was a yearly interest of close to 4000 percent on PolyDoge Shares {PDS} I was stunned. That was not real right? Should I go to the Bank and tell them how they are doing things wrong? Okay, that high percentage dropped quickly over time. Currently somewhere around a 1000% per year. Still, find me some Bank that will offer me a deal like that. Of course I know that with a possible huge Return On Investment {ROI} comes a high risk. Yet, so far, even in bear times, I actually made a gain of 40 percent.

What I basically do is 'Yield' the result of my 'Farming' about 4 times per day. Yes, I know it takes some work. But it is easy, just a claim procedure, then exchange the PolyDoge Dollar for PDS and stash the PolyDoge Stakes. Which will then do about 3 percent per day. Compounding all the way, it is value on value. Even on a bad Cryptos day. Still, before you might get triggered by this story, risking all you have, first take a cool down, as the value of this Token could become worthless in a jiffy. Really, only invest what you are willing and can effort to lose.

More where that came from?

There is still some Cryptocurrencies that I have stashed somewhere. And even though I do think Atomic Swaps are part of the future, so far it seems that Crypto scene ain't ready for it yet. The reason I think Atomic Swaps will become important is because it could make it possible for me to buy something with Hive, while the seller receives Litecoin. And while there are Cryptocurrency Swap systems those are merely Centralized. Atomic Swaps are Decentralized and can easily cross Blockchain barriers. Be aware though that every Swap party needs to stay online during the whole process. And although there will be no release of funds for any of the parties involved in the Swap until the deal is settled completely, it can go wrong. Unlocking ones own part of a Swap where the other party pulled out is a difficult proces. Meaning in some rare case a Swap gets locked in time for ever. At least that is my own experience and I refuse to use Discord (So there might be a solution I do not know of.) Still something to overcome before mass acceptance of Decentralized Atomic Swaps. So, I'm going to pull out part of my investment in that.

And with this I am going to Swap for Matic to be used on the Polygon Blockchain. Buying more PDS, stash it on top of what I already have at stake there. Giving me PDD in return 4 times a day. At about an average of 3 percent interest per day. Even though I know that there is no guarantee at all that I will keep making a nice ROI on this one. So just in case I did also buy some Elon token. Because either way everything that mister Musk touches changes into gold. Never thought I would go for opportunism. But here I am about to store proof of that on the Hive Blockchain. So, if it fails, will I dare to publish about it too? Yes, of course and with the Blockchain as my witness I will leave now. There are some Swaps and Exchanges to be made. Time to Farm some more.
