Hello lovely souls around the world!, I would like to introduce myself formally.
My name is Matthew and i am an American who has traversed as far as India and have settled here for the time being, for the last 4 years. Since i have been here, i have gotten married to the most amazing woman i have ever had the pleasure to meet and she has given me a wonderful son that is a little monster to boot! Together, my wife and i, have started a business selling gemstones around the world, to counties such as USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Australia, Greece, Philippines, Mexico, and many more locations around the world.
Not only is selling gemstones part of what we wish to accomplish with our business venture but this is a stepping stone that will lead us to the actualization of a self-sufficient community where people local or abroad, can come to learn many things such as, but not limited to, eco friendly building, sustainable living, husbandry, the initial start up of personal or commercial farming and so much more.
First off, i want to thank each and every one of you as each of you are contributing to this dream of ours <3
The dream consists of my wife and i starting a self-sufficient community here in india(edit: or america). It will be a place of learning and growing, where people may come to learn how to support themselves by growing their own gardens, how to harvest their own energy using methods such as solar panels, hydro-electricity, and wind turbines and various other creative ways. How to collect and purify water, either from rain, the ground and/or plants.
We will be teaching many other things such as yoga, group meditation therapy, reiki, husbandry, community living, earthship bio-structure and many more things. (this is only the tip of the ice berg here)
I will also be getting into contact with the local communities/government to help with orphans, to help them find permanent homes, stable homes.
I myself was adopted from birth and understand and am grateful for what it is like to know that i could simply have been dumped in a dumpster and left alone to die as an infant. (which was exactly what would have happened) I wish to help children learn not only that love is all around but that they can take care of themselves with out having to be dependent on government and hand outs. Not only for the children but everyone needs to learn this, to be dependent only on themselves and to help, from their heart, all those around. To live, love and forgive unconditionally <3
What better place to grow and learn than on a farm, Maya Farms. (again, this is only the tip of this ice berg as well)
The reason for Maya Crystals is to get this all off the ground, to support the community and supply us with the needed money to grow every project to the point money is no longer really needed except to buy more land and to expand.
Soon after the farm has opened and food is being grown I will be opening a Maya Organics, Maya Herbs, Maya Textiles and more as ideas arrive.
I will also be having a lapidary on the estate and will be teaching the art, jewelry making can and will be taught here.
This world is in a sore state and needs all the help she can receive from any and all of us, we must learn to live together in harmony, not only with the peoples of all walks of life but with animals and nature as well.
We must become sustainable on this planet or we risk losing more than any of us can imagine.
This is my dream, my legacy i wish to give and leave this world, my own ripple to echo across the ages. I care not for my name to be known, only care that those who are in want know there is hope, that there are those who care and will help them learn to help themselves.
For, no one can help you if you are not willing to do what is needed to grow, learn and evolve and help yourself.
Here, on this lonely blue dot in this vast universe we are all one here, whether we are conscious of it or not, it is true. Together we rise, or together we fall.
I have already got several families ready to join and contribute to this cause, i only have to get it off the ground. Those who do join will be part of an aspect of the farm, be it Maya Crystals, Maya Organics, Maya Textiles, Maya jewelry, Maya Herbs etc, and will each do their part.
Those who decide to join or visit can either work or learn the trade to either contribute or learn to do what we do and spread the word or start their own where they are from.
Those of you who make jewelry and are interested are more than willing and come open up your own work shop.
The main goal here is network like minded people to create a global community so we all can have support if help is needed.
I do not want to make money and become rich, i want to live, and by that i mean in peace. I know this is a lot of work looking at it in its entirety but this is just an outline and will grow slowly or as fast as i and others can make it grow.
We are taking the second step, after starting Maya Crystals to start this community we are moving to there area where this will come to life!
