A HUGE thank you to everyone who has already participated in the MedBlock Logo Contest, followed all instructions and submitted their best logo entry!
So far there have been 16 entries and with one week left in the competition, here’s to another 16 (or more) submissions this week! I would like to get at least 30 awesome entries to review this Sunday before announcing the winners on Monday, August 14th.
The deadline for submitting your logo entry is Sunday, August 13 at 6 pm EST. Afterwards, I will meet with the entire MedBlock team and we will go through each entry to choose the 3 winners. Of course, only the 1st place entry will be chosen as the official logo of MedBlock.
As the official logo of MedBlock, it will be used and posted everywhere – on the MedBlock website, social media profiles, Telegram groups, announcements, blog posts, etc.
That’s why I changed the logo requirements on the second day of the contest to specify that all entries must be vector based logos, 300 dpi, and submitted as .ai or .psd files. We’re asking for a vector based logo so that it can be resized without any change to its resolution. Also we’re seeking professional logos and consequently would like to see every logo created in either Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.
Please note that you must submit the .ai or .psd file to journeyoface@gmail.com as well as make a separate Steemit post which includes your logo entry and BitShares account name.
If you do not submit your file or do not make a separate entry post before August 13 at 6 pm EST, you will not be eligible to win any prizes.
Once again, here are the instructions for the competition:
Logo Type: Vector based logo, 300 dpi
Theme: A decentralized electronic health record (EHR) system on the blockchain. Or you can also think of illustrating MedBlock as "Medicine on the Blockchain."
Format: .ai or .psd file that must be emailed to journeyoface@gmail.com.
Create a new post entitled “MedBlock Logo Contest Entry" and include your logo entry and your BitShares account name.
Use the following tags when creating your post so that I can find your entry: medblock, medblocklogo, art, contest, steemgigs.
Email your logo file(s) to journeyoface@gmail.com and submit your logo entry post BEFORE August 13 at 6:00 pm EST.
And just to make you all salivate again, here is a breakdown of the prizes:
1st place: 900 BeyondBit (worth $693)
2nd place: 200 BeyondBit (worth $154)
3rd place: 100 BeyondBit (worth $77)
Total rewards up for grabs: 1200 BeyondBit (worth $924!!!)
Only the 1st place logo will be selected and used as the official logo of MedBlock
The winners will be announced on Monday, August 14!

Also please remember that everyone is limited to only one logo! I have already received entries from participants that have included multiple logos. While this was accepted in the first week of the contest, I will strictly adhere to the one logo limit this week. Any participant who submits more than one logo will be asked to re-submit only their best logo. Don’t forget to email the .ai or .psd file for your logo!
While all of the entries received thus far are very unique and creative, the contest is still wide open as we continue to search for the 3 best logos from the Steemit community.
