What Is MediBloc:
MediBloc is a blockchain for medical data. MediBloc platform not only holds the medical data of the patients, but also allows patients to share the data with relevant parties.
In simple words, MediBloc blockchain platform contains whole medical account of the patients. Doctors and patients can access the data when needed.
For example, if a patient named A went to a doctor to take treatment for his illness. He is cured then, but later he again get sicked but when in another place, so he again went to new doctor. And the doctor asked the patient's previous record. In the past, he should take all his record for this kind of cases.
But now, it is new story. The patient can take the advantage of this new blockchain technology to share his medical record.

Founders and the Team
The MediBloc was founded by the two doctors Dr. Allen Wookyun Kho and Dr. Eunsol Lee, who have strong background in both engineering and medical fields.
One of the major reason behing MediBloc blockchain is all other networks which handle medical data are limited to a point, but blockchain technology can fix this limitation, and MediBloc is entered by these two doctors.
Started with two doctors blockchain is now a team of 17 other members who are for different tasks of the blockchain management, and 10 advisors.

|—> In the current data systems, medical data is centralized by local authorities. The limitations are vary from various locations and authorities. In majority, medical data is restricted to access except a few on grounds of legalities and authorities. Maybe they call it privacy. That is fine, but in some cases, it needs to access medical data for various genuine good reasons. At that kind of situations current data systems turn into hurdles.
In the new MediBloc system, authorities cannot rule over the data. The data can be accessed by patients. And patients can take decision to give permission to share their data if needed or not.
|—> In current general medical data systems, though the authorities strict, the data can be hacked by hackers.
But MediBloc data cannot be leaked, and only shared if the patient gives permission to access his data for genuine reasons.
Access and Security
The data is highly secured. A patient can access only his/her data, and he can give permission to healthcare providers or researchers to access his/her data.
And a patient cannot access into any other's patient's data for any point. And healthcare providers can access patient's data only in emergency situations, otherwise they nee permission from the patient to access data. And researchers must need permission to access patient's data for any point.
MediBloc's support for developers
As MediBloc is founded to improve healthcare it offers free open-source SDK for developrs. So the developers can create apps to maintain data blocks of health records and insurances for various health departments and organizations.

MediBloc's Tokens:
At first MediBloc thought to build its platform as DApp using EVM. EVM defines Ethereum Virtual Machine which is used for smart contract development. At that stage, tokens are given as MED (QTUM).
After deciding to have its own blockchain, the tokens are treated as MEDX.
Note: But both tokens are treated as valid. When ERC-20 tokens of MediBloc's own blockchain are released, currently say Main Net Coin, MED and MEDX token holders will get 1:1 ratio of MED and MEDX,i.e. 0.5 Main Net Coin per MED, and 0.5 Main Net Coin for MEDX.

Many large organizations and medical institutes are in queue to integrate their medical data with MediBloc blockchain.

I would feel the world of medical data industry will be changed by this MediBloc data system, because the data has no limits from any side and it has better security. The data can be shared to other parties only if the patient gives permission for his/her data.
