When I joined my first company as an intern, that time I was having only the programming skills related to the computer world. And some additional knowledge about its hardware and assemble. The Manager introduced me with new technology about the medical imagination and its work flow. How the PACS works and what we do with the data of the patients of different hospitals obtained from the Modality(like MICR, X-Ray machines).
Finally, I committed myself to that work telling my self that "Life runs on Lines". I was new but I worked hard to run myself as a full fledged employee and I did. I have seen the whole scenario of the Hospitals and the supporting IT software for them.
The flow of the images and uploading to the web and in meanwhile the radiologist and the other related doctors were working to generate the report and sending back to the hospitals to make a sure treatment of the patients. We are growing our technology day by day to ensure the better society and better world class health, but we stuck somewhere in doing the things complex.
We should work for the better society and for a secure society where all the flow will go smooth like that PACS flow and DICOM images.
