Hello!! My name is Rami and I’ve studied Telecommunication engineering and technology. I want to share my story with you:
One day at university time, I had a “Wireless communication” exam. This subject for me was like hell, and the required exam material was too long. So, as many of students would do, I kept on delaying it day after day until the exam night is here, and when I opened the book “for the first time” and downloaded all the extra required information, I found myself in front of a huge number of pages that need to be saved and completely understood, which I know, at that time, it’s impossible to finish all this pages at one night.
what I did then? Was reading through all the headers and subjects searching for the most important subjects, in my opinion, to concentrate on and leave the rest for later, if there is a later. And so, I went to the exam the second day hoping that I’ll see something of what I’ve read the last night. But what I’ve seen on the exam paper is completely not related for any of the subjects I’ve spent the last night reading. While I was wondering, what had happened? the teacher came across and told us that he decided to make the exam easy, so we all get good marks because he knows how much is this subject hard!! Will if it’s so easy as he says why I can’t answer any thing? Then I gave up and get out of the exam knowing “F” is my destiny. Simply, he decided to build all the exam questions from the most easy and obvious chapters, which I’ve never considered to look at!!
I went home with sadness, and while setting on my mac blaming myself, a thought came across my mind: Is there any way to read faster, so I can finish all the materials on one night? But even if there’s a way, it’s impossible to read faster and comprehend every word you read, or not?
At that time my story with memory boosting and speed reading had started, and this what I will share with you later …
