It is well know today that the food colour available on stores are completely made up of chemicals which are injurious for our health. It is a fact that the Red Dye(food colour) comes from Petroleum which is too harmful....
So, making these organic Colors at home is very easy and also it doesn't tend to compromise with the taste and color of the being prepared dye...
Let's start ......
Step : 1 Gather all raw material
For Green :
• half a cup of frozen organic spinach
• 1/4 cup of water
For Purple :
• 1/3 cup blueberries
• 3Tbsp water
For Pink :
• 1/4 cup cooked beets
• 3 Tbsp water
For Yellow :
• 1/2 TSP ground turmeric
• 1/4 cup of water
Step : 2 Procedure
For Green :
Take the spinach and water in a spatula and blend both of them until they are totally smooth. We can add more water if it get stuck. And now push it through a fine sieve, the green organic food colour gets ready...
For Purple :
Take blueberries and water in a blender and blend them up to a smooth fine paste. Then push this smooth paste through a fine sieve and the colour gets ready...
For Pink :
Made a puree with the cooked beets and water. Mesh them in to a very fine paste and finally passes through a very fine sieve. The final product is our pink food colour...
For Yellow :
In a pot, take some water and boiled it. Now in this pot add the turmeric and rest it for few minutes. Now allow this mixture to cool, this is our organic yellow food color...
