Hi guys today I am going to share you the news about plastic ban in Maharashtra.Now Maharashtra became 18th state of India to do so.From 23 June onwards plastic bags are banned.The treaty was signed 3 months ago and given clear notice to the merchants, sellers and other plastic owned business to clear there whole plastic stocks.
In growing India Maharashtra joined with other 17 states to completely banned the whole plastic things.The penalty for the person caught with plastic bag for first time is ₹ 5000 around 75 us dollars then for second time it doubles to 150$ and for third time it is around 350$ and 3 years of imprisonment.The penalty for jail extends if person unable to pay the amount of penalty.The whole thing looks good as the penalty is harsh and strict but this will create much problem for the plastic owned businesses.
As plastic is banned no!no! Not whole plastic crap but the plastic bags thermocol plastic glasses and decorating articles were only banned.The content packing of eatables, milk and electronic gadgets are not banned for God sake.
What do you think about that whole banned thing looks great as the problems are growing day by day in India.The animals suffers lot from plastic waste.The good thing is that some plastic are recycled upto 97 percent but in India no one have time to save nature.Government come up with whole thing and gave the solution of paper bags but in my opinion use of paper bag will lead to demand for paper leading to more deforestation in our age very dangerous move.What do you think about this and what are your suggestions and ideas.
