Imam Rageb (Rahimahullah) says that the use of magic is in different ways:
- Every thing that is very subtle and confidential. It is said, سحرت الصبى that means I have deceived and attracted the child. So whoever can attract anything, make him like magic. This includes poems of poets, for capturing the hearts. Similar words of Allah:
بل نحن قوم مسحورون
That is, our eyes have not been disturbed, but we have become wretched (Surah Hijrah: 15).
It is included in the Hadith as well: إن من البيان لسحرا Certainly there are some statements that the magician
That is, through fraud, which is no reality, such as the action of the whistleblower, the attention of the people through captivating hand patch.
He used to take his proximity with the help of Satan: The words of Allah are meant only to what is achieved
ولكن الشياطين كفروا يعلمون الناس السحر
Meaning: "But the Shaykhâtin (disbelievers) disbelieved. They taught people magic lessons. "(Surah Baqarah 102)
