A history is going to be made in India , a new body most likely to be called as HEERA- Higher Education Empowerment Regulation Agency is set up after collapsing AICTE and UGC , the two giants of Indian technical education governing Bodies. The long awaited decision was implemented by Modi government. Yashpal Committee and the National Knowledge Commission of the UPA era and the Hari Gautam Committee also reported the same but never laid down. But this time Modi government took strong step in this field , and replace UGC , AICTE with HEERA.
HEERA will eliminate all the cons in the jurisdiction and remove all obsolete regulatory provisions which are no longer relevant in current scenario.
The pros of this decision made a clear road map for the entry of FOREIGN INSTITUTIONS, it is believed that top 200-300 institutions in the world are allowed to work in india and ranked as category I institutions.This will directly benefit the indian students to studied under expertise and renowned universities across the globe.
