Microsoft updated the problem with the restart of computers after the Intel patch, which eliminates the Specter vulnerability.
As reported by Engadget, Intel has released a patch that supposedly eliminates the Specter vulnerability. However, Windows users began to report that after installing this patch, their computers started to reboot suddenly.
To fix this error, Microsoft specialists had to release an update for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. OS users who encountered the problem are recommended to download it from the official Microsoft site, if it was not installed automatically. The update is released for a while until Intel fixes the problem.
Previously, Linux creator Linus Torvalds called garbage updates to address vulnerabilities in Intel processors.
