Hello, Steemians!
Successful people often urge beginners to create to-do lists and schedule their days to reach maximum efficiency and peak productivity.
But today, I am going to propose something different. Something that we all desperately need, but can’t understand just how much we need it.
As much as it is important to do some things in order to achieve your dreams, it is also important to not do some things and develop a sense of self-restraint.
This is what I would like to call a ‘To-not-do’ list!
Indulgence is a weakness that we all struggle with in our lifetime. We tend to have desires and cravings that may not be in our own best interest.
Sometimes, the urge to indulge an immediate pleasure overwhelms the idea of getting some work done for a higher purpose.
This weakness is inevitable. Now, I do believe that if we work on ourselves, we can overcome such urges and desires.
But my main point is this: having a ‘not-to-do’ list is just as important as having a schedule for things you will have to do!
After all, nobody understands your own urges and impulses better than you.
You have some tendencies or habits that are harmful when it comes to your mindset and productivity on a daily basis.
After so many years, you have recognized most of these habits.
Here is where it gets challenging: You have to work up the courage to make a not-to-do list and write everything that you should avoid in order to become the person you were meant to be.
Some people call this torture or oppression, but it is actually a process of self-betterment to achieve your goals and stop time from going to waste.
Nobody can know our characteristic pitfalls better than us. To avoid these pitfalls is a great challenge that only a few people can rise up to!
If making a to-do list can actually help with doing the things we want to do, then creating a not-to-do list can compel us to leave our bad habits behind and develop our character towards a better future.
The real argument is this:
If you need to do particular things to achieve your goals, then you equally need to not do particular things.
Break out of the chains of your bad habits by sitting down and making this list today!

I have been working very hard on this blog since the beginning. I have a very busy life but I am giving my best and believe me I have shared experiences that I have been coaching thousands of people and I know that the change of the Mindset should be daily.
