Bithumb and BitPay, two of the largest cryptocurrency related companies have partnered up to enter the remittance market (Moving money around basically, most often across borders). This will be done by taking invoices from Bithumb, and converting invoices to bitcoin and processing the invoice through BitPay.
“Right now, people are doing cross-border payments […] and paying bank wires, FX fees around 4% and it takes about four days. Using Bithumb and BitPay, we’re able to make this a 1% fee in one business day,” Singh.
Game Changer
Just like trains untied early America and caused an economic boom. This partnership between Bithumb and BitPay is the modern train in the remittance market. Cutting down significantly on time and fees of moving money, this is in the next few years going to be widely adopted. I mean who wouldn't, if you owned a business why waste your time and money when you can do it cheaper and faster with no difference in the result. Differently a big game changer, at least the concept.
