As many of our loyal users have already noticed, we have recently made a few upgrades to our services. In this article we will explain what our outstanding developers have been up to behind the scenes.
Firstly, we would like to let you know that we have listened to your feedback and have implemented bundling of smaller votes, in order to satisfy the needs of our customers.
Chart calculation has been upgraded as well and with 25% allowed fluctuation for upvotes, users should find that it gets a little easier to order upvotes via Minnowbooster. Another large improvement to the service which users may not have noticed yet is the fact that bounces/denied votes are down 10x!
Beyond those minor improvements we would like to let the Steem community know that we have updated our security and abuse monitoring systems as well. Issues with users being flagged wrongfully for using automated systems, have been reduced significantly.
Along with our new and updated ToS (Terms of Service) we want to let Steemians across the platform know that we take abuse more seriously than ever and are still making significant efforts to monitor real abusers and assist in fighting spam and farming as much as possible. One of the main ways we are accomplishing this is by monitoring our top votes weekly, and adding content producers considered to be publishing spam to our blacklist. For the most part we have noticed that the overall quality of the @minnowbooster service has improved alot; keeping both minnows and the greater community's interests in mind. To make a long story short, the overall picture is getting better every day.
The content of posts that have been receiving large votes through @minnowbooster will keep improving over time with abusers being locked out of our system and quality content finding its place.
Due to the ever-increasing number of Steem users and low quality posters' desire for easy money, we anticipate that abuse and spam will continue being a big problem across the platform.
