Good day readers and Minnowbooster fans. Let's take a moment away from the beautiful autumn weather and recap some recent changes and updates regarding Minnowbooster.
While on the surface often it may seem like there is not much going on, you can be sure that our team is constantly hard at work, planning, improving our projects and giving everything we can to make sure our services run smoothly.
Aside from changes to our nodes, there are a few other things we'd like to point out.
DLM lease APR %
If you have been using Minnowbooster for a while, then you are most probably also aware of our Delegated Lease Market, DLM for short.

After undelegeting your SP from other users, the delegator had to suffer a 7-day long period of cooldown, before the network released his Steem Power back to his account. All cool - that was to avoid voting abuse.
But with after-HF20 changes, which take into account mana and RC, such long cooldown period is not anymore warranted.
The new cooldown period is 5 days, for the delegator's Steem Power to be returned to his account.
And just a few days ago, our devs updated the APR calculation on our market, to reflect the new and shorter cooldown period, giving you the most accurate info as possible.
The number of leases in our DLM is growing rapidly
If you are a delegator, you might have noticed a jump in the lease orders waiting to be filled.
Perhaps it's the less-burdened reward pool, that has made the market see higher activity than usual, or perhaps it's something else.
Without further speculating on the reason, this is great news for delegators, as lessees are having to resort to a bit higher APR lease orders, in order to get them filled faster. Simple mechanics of the market - supply and demand.
So, whether you are new or old, big whale or small fish with some spare Steem Power to delegate, head to the DLM and see if you can find some suitable passive income opportunities, while you kick up and preach Steem to your friends.
